18-2-2010 93/365 More Lines, originally uploaded by fomu.

Two compositions with lines in two days. Well, my wife T. had surgery today in the Martini Hospital in the city of Groningen. I spend whole day in the hospital while T. was sleeping and I took some pictures of this new built hospital. It has very nice constructions and bright colours. When you are healthy it is a nice play to walk around.

5-1-2010 49/365 Sports Mannequins

Spotted these sportive mannequins at the Intersport in the city of Groningen. They look real cool, don’t they? The manager told me that I was not allowed to take any pictures in his shop. He did not really have an answer on my question “why not?”. Had something to do with competition. Showed him the pictures and he liked it ;)

7-12-2009 20/365 Bone Scan

Posted in Dailyphoto with tags , , , , on 7 December 2009 by fomu

Today was a nerve-racking day. Ten days ago my wife had to make a bone scan. She had pain in her chest. Normally not a reason to make a bone scan, but she has had breast cancer ten years ago. The location of  the pain could indicate a metastasis. Today at 4:20 p.m. she had an appointment with the surgeon to hear the results of the scan.

We both had to work and travelled seperately to the Martini hospital at Groningen, that you can see on the picture above. I was early and had some time to take some pictures, the best distraction I can imagine.

We heard GOOD news!!

4-12-2009 17/365 Two musicians

Did some DIY this afternoon at my son’s room in Groningen. He had to do some shopping in the city, where we listened to these two musicians. They played very nice.
Groningen is a sparkling city with lot’s of students passing you left and right on their bikes.
