I never get bored of a nice sunrise behind some trees in the snow. Maybe you get tired of all these snow pictures. But it’s reality here @Emmen and for the daily blogging it is a good view of my world today.
Tomorrow I have to travel the whole day. I will post a picture made by iPhone then. Leave my Canon at home.

Took a ride today to take some pictures for the Daily Photo project. I took a lot of close-ups the last few days and thought it was a good idea to choose another object. My choice fell on this swan. He was swimming with a female (I think) in a canal near Emmen. It was bloody cold outside with a stormy snow wind. I wonder if these swans feel the cold. Anyway swans are one of the most graceful animals in my opinion.

As I was walking in the forrest “Oosterbos” at Emmen I spotted this stream. The leaves of the trees have fallen in this stream in Autumn. As you can see the upper part of the stream is frozen, the lower part is not. Strange enough the leaves in the stream are still frozen. It was a beautiful sight.

Guess I will have the biggest snowballs! In real life these are the boxwood balls in my garden totally covered by snow.

Spotted this little ant warming itself in the winter sun in the Oosterbos at Emmen. It’s my holiday and I took the dogs for a walk in the forrest behind our house. Actually looking for the buzzards that live there, but could not find them today. I’ll try again this week.

Very misty this morning in the fields at sunrise. My last day at the project in Noord-Brabant Bergen op Zoom. It’s a beautiful region, that’s for sure!
