I have taken pictures of these enormous cold stores before. Today I started again on a project in the south-west of Holland, approximately 290 km’s from my home. They are really huge and white and catch the sun beautifully. On the left you see a large container site. It was 17:30 and sunset.
I’m staying in hotels for the next couple of months and forgot my little people.

You will find this lamp on the self made desk in our new study. In the reflection of the lamp you can see bookshelfs and the white painted cupboard. And if you look close this is also a vague self portrait.
I finished the study today. Just in time because next week I’m going to work on a project on the other side of Holland.
I looked out of my window this morning and noticed the beautiful Volkswagen Beetle from my neighbours. The sun was shining and the snow was melting. The chrome in the wheel of this classic car reflects our house. Took this from my kitchen window with the 250 mm lens.
As I was walking in the forrest “Oosterbos” at Emmen I spotted this stream. The leaves of the trees have fallen in this stream in Autumn. As you can see the upper part of the stream is frozen, the lower part is not. Strange enough the leaves in the stream are still frozen. It was a beautiful sight.
