Posted this Beetle already the 3rd of February. Then it was a sunny day. Today the snowing began again. Like this car very much. well now you see the front of this Volkswagen Bug.

3-2-2010 78/365 Wheely Home

I looked out of my window this morning and noticed the beautiful Volkswagen Beetle from my neighbours. The sun was shining and the snow was melting. The chrome in the wheel of this classic car reflects our house. Took this from my kitchen window with the 250 mm lens.

16-1-2010 60/365 Snowbreak

Early in the morning I had a walk with my dogs. Temperature was around 0 degrees Celcius. You can see that the snow on the roofs is starting to melt. The view of the snow on this roof made me thought of my duvet when I’m coming out of my bed. A little bit wrinkled.

12-1-2010 56/365 Sunrise, trees and snow (again)

I never get bored of a nice sunrise behind some trees in the snow. Maybe you get tired of all these snow pictures. But it’s reality here @Emmen and for the daily blogging it is a good view of my world today.

Tomorrow I have to travel the whole day. I will post a picture made by iPhone then. Leave my Canon at home.

11-1-2010 55/365 Tricky Daffodil

Sorry Mother Nature. I played a little trick on you today. I took this Daffodil from inside the house and planted it in the snow outside. It gave al little colour in the snowy white garden for a moment. Now it’s in a vase inside again.

8-1-2010 52/365 Frozen Seeds

No idea how these are called, but liked the frost on top of it. Found them in my garden this morning. Had made shots of my “Malus Apple” but they seemed to be all unsharp. Pitty, because they were lovely with frost on it. Maybe next time.

7-1-2010 51/365 Streamy Reflections

As I was walking in the forrest “Oosterbos” at Emmen I spotted this stream. The leaves of the trees have fallen in this stream in Autumn. As you can see the upper part of the stream is frozen, the lower part is not. Strange enough the leaves in the stream are still frozen. It was a beautiful sight.

Guess I will have the biggest snowballs! In real life these are the boxwood balls in my garden totally covered by snow.

3-1-2010 47/365 Ready for Summer

These Deck Chairs remind me of the summer. Relaxing in my garden in the sun with a cool drink. Watching the birds in the trees and the fish in the pond. Winter is not really my thing. I like to take a walk with the dogs just wearing a t-shirt and short trousers. But the views with the snow are magnificient. Guess I have to wait a little bit longer before these chairs are free again!
